Colerase & Watercolor.
I remember catching lightning bugs as a kid. They seemed to get so sad once in the jar. Lighting up less and less. We always felt bad and let them go free.

this is fantastic! it reminds me of the squashed fairy's book (i think by Brian Froud)...anyway, I love your idea and your delicate style
