Spring

graphite

I'm trying to keep up with Illustration Friday. That's as spring as I could come up with at the time. Sporadic grass! (I might edit with some other ideas if I get them done in time.)

Anyway, spring is the bright green color of baby leaves, bare feet on sun-warmed sidewalks, and ungodly amounts of homework, so it seems. Also, daylight savings really messed me up this weekend. Like my waking hours weren't askew already.

(Mmm... androgyny.)

Monster

Graphite.

Tal and Heinrich sit and have popsicles.
Illustration Friday this week is monster.

I had things to say, but I forgot them.

Graphite, markers, colored pencils.

I know he's wrong, but let's not talk about proportion today.

Insect(s)

Pencil, marker, and colored pencil on bristol.

Illustration Friday this week is Insect. I hope these are insecty enough. The second one on the second row didn't work out as well as I had hoped, but think of a butterfly and go from there. I have ideas for at least another two of these, but I ought to finish my homework for tomorrow before working on them.

Also, Project Runway Finale is on tonight. I'm crossing my fingers for Daniel V.

Edit: Added the last two.

I tried doing the Illustration Friday for the week, but that teapot was as far as I got. I wasn't sure where to go from there and didn't really have any other ideas. I'll try again next week.

Also, Massive Fotodump on Flickr. No one is safe.

More Bunnies

Graphite. Try to ignore the weird elbows.

So, I've decided that 8AM needs more bunnies. Desperately. Instead of a perpetually cold classroom and a discrete math lecture, there would be warm, fuzzy, hoppy bunnies. Doesn't that sound like a good idea?

I thought so.

I'm a total slob. It's cool. Maybe.

Stalling?

Painter speedpaints.

Of course I'm not stalling. What a silly notion.

He's holding an envelope and a platter. There might be some sort of symbolic explanation. There might not.

Obligatory Intropost

Isn't this nice? I like it. Now, anyone can comment, even without an account. It'd be nice if you left your name with your comment, but if you really want to be anonymous, there isn't really all that much I can do about it.

I'm not going to repost anything, for the sake of my sanity, but there is a link to the Xanga over there in the sidebar for anyone who wishes to see the old stuff.

I don't have anything to stick up here today, but I'll try and get around to it sometime soon.
